Offline-first ranger tracking and field data collection
Document events with photos and custom fields, capture patrol tracks in the background, upload documents, and view everything in a centralized dashboard. Works completely offline — syncs when online.
The map shows a sample ranger track. Replace with actual app images in production.
Our Mission
Ranger App is built to empower conservation teams with reliable, offline-first tools for wildlife monitoring, ranger tracking, and community engagement. Our mission is to strengthen conservation efforts worldwide by making field technology accessible, open source, and community-driven.
Create detailed event records in the field: attach photos, add descriptions, and use custom fields (for example, animal counts, observed threats, or community notes). Everything stored locally and queued for sync.
Rangers’ locations are recorded in the background to create patrol tracks. View lines and stop points on the dashboard to validate coverage and detect gaps.
Offline-first design: collect data without connectivity and let the app sync automatically later. Local queues are robust and reliable for remote deployments
We welcome contributors: developers, field rangers, designers, and conservationists. Check the repository for issues labeled good first issue or join our community chat.
